Yeah Cabrera, and the sad thing is this is the first year I've finally realized blame needs to be on Leyland. I've defended him all the way, gave him a pass last year because of the injury fest, and the fact we overachieved in the 1st half anyway. Now that we have a competent lineup, he sits the guys anyway. I don't understand his love affair with Raburn either, he's Shane Halter imo.

On the plus side, I saw the lineup tonight and it looks good. I'd like to see it more often (even if it includes Raburn). Avila hitting 6th, finally! I saw a suggestion on another site to try Boesch at leadoff and let AJax hit 9th where his strikeouts won't hurt as much. It's not a bad idea now that Boesch has a decent OBP, but it's not like Jim would ever try it anyway.

Big series between the Tigers and Indians. Should be fun to watch. Oh wait...what's this? Joe West's crew? Fans lose.

I'm the way. In the past, I couldn't always blame him, the Tigers were horrible teams the past two years that shouldn't have been in contention in the first place. They faded because they were bad.

But this year, they have one of the best lineups in baseball. Can't let it slip away.

Austin Jackson goes deep! Tigers up 2-0. Scherzer has been amazing tonight. Best changeup he's ever had since he got here. He needed it tonight agaisnt all these lefties.

Finally back to baseball for the Phillies, this is our second night in a row with a rain delay.

Atleast the Rockies pitchers are making it easy for the front office to figure out who wont be pitching in 2012 with the 2 top tier pitching prospects now in the farm system.

He pitched a really solid game though. Just kind of tried to sneak one past Peralta that kind of put the game out of hand. He was good.

Chipper starting to swing it...hopefully we can keep him going the rest of the year. I wonder if Derek Lowe is capable of going more than 5 innings anymore, but I'll take the win.
