I know, funny that they would say that, when the Yankee fans themselves have NO class at all.

Pedro was right...Zimmer had it coming to him after running after Pedro and taking a swing at him.

Personally, I HATE the Yanks because they are a bought team...everyone except for people living in NY hates the Yanks. I can't wait until we face them in the series and the entire country is rooting for us.

      Go Cubs.

Dude, have you been smoking Barry Zito's weed? How did Roger start this! It was an 0-2 count, Roger wanted to blow the fastball by him, he overthrew it and it went HIGH AND BARELY INSIDE. Pedro started it, Ramirez blew it out of proportion.

Like Jeff Nelson said, you mean to tell me that Pedro couldn't get out of the way of a 72 year old man??? he just had to throw him to the ground???

As for the statement that Clemens started it... Give me some of what you are smoking... Since when is throwing BARELY inside a wrong thing to do. Manny was just looking for something to cry about, period. BTW: Strike three on the next pitch.

And as always here is how it always goes:
"Fans" talk smack about how thier team is going to win. They lose. The same fans then start with the "highest payroll" stuff(Even though when Baltimore, Cleveland, Yankees etc.. had the highest and did not win it nothing is heard)...and finally the wait for the CUBS statements. At least the Cubs show some class and will probably give the Yankees all they can handle it.
It's not a curse that keeps the Sox from winning but rather they fold under pressure...SO FAR. This series is far from over but Nomars batting (as an example of the folding under pressure) is not helping the Sox at this point.

Clemens started this? Red Sux fans are so funny. Can't stand the fact that we beat your *** every single time we play you, so you have to make excuses and put the blame on Roger. This was ALL Pedro, hate to break the news to you. Throwing at Garcia's head, pointing to his head yelling at Posada (not even mentioning throwing a 72 year old man to the ground-way to go Pedro!!), and then the pitch to Ramirez was nowhere near his head. Ramirez is just a big fat baby. Your team has zero class. They are a bunch of hot doggers who have no respect for the game. Ramirez, Ortiz, et al sit there and admire their HR's, and Pedro is Pedro. Oh, and the person who said Roger is notorious for being a headhunter; you mean to tell me Pedro is not???? The guy has pissed off so many people (not saying Roger has not), but to not lay any blame on Pedro is just being a blind homer fan.

Oh, and to the Cubs fan talking smack already- be careful what you wish for...it just might come back and bite you in the ***.

My unbiased review of a few happenings yesterday (noticing many of these comments are team biased!):

IMO Clemens didn't start this. It was the mess that happened the inning before. I DON'T think Pedro threw at Garcia though. That loaded the bases with 0 outs and Boston was down by 1????? IF he did it intentionally, that is one of the dumbest things he could've done. That was a game-breaking situation and Pedro needed to get out of it to keep his team close.

Ramirez was looking for a reason to charge. He was wrong in that situation. If you saw the first few pitches of the sequence, ramirez was bailing out. He thought he was going to get hit and retaliated on anything inside.

As for Zim and Pedro - 100% Zim's fault. He should've kept his old *** on the bench. Coaches are supposed to help stop these things from happening, not inciting them. Classless move IMO.

I understand where Jeff Nelson is coming from saying that Pedro could've moved out of the way, but this was in the heat of battle and Pedro reacted. Pedro did in fact move to the side a little and then pushed Zim down (I also think Zim going down had a lot to do with him being totally out of control. Hell he was falling before he got to Pedro.). I'd do the same exact thing if Zim was running at me swinging from the hip. Zim is old enough to understand his place. On the baseball field fighting with another player is not his place. IMO, he should be fired from his position immediately.

Bullpen - Here's what I got. Boston security guy was waving a Boston flag in the Yankee bullpen. Nelson charged him and took him out. IF that's true, Nelson should have criminal charges filed against him. Totally uncalled for. No reason this guy can't wave a Boston flag in the Yankee bullpen. I'm sure this isn't all that happened, but ballplayers get paid a lot of money to do a job. No reason they should attack a fan (unless the fan is charging at them) who is rooting for the opposing team.
