    Re: Yankees vs Redsox Thread

I heard one say that Pedro's pointing to his head, and motioning he will hit him(Posada) in the head, Zimm took it personally because he was in a comma after he had been hit in the head by a pitch. Still had no right to even go up to him, which he was the only one. Where the heck was Posada or Karim at the time?! Still, though, I believe Martinez could have done the right thing by stepping away. I understand the heat of a battle and all, but your mind should process that this man is much older than you, and you could seriously hurt him by a simple move. I doubt Zimm would have gone at him with a bat, or even Zimm could have hurt Pedro, but then again Pedro is fragile.

I do agree that it was wrong of Karim to express his anger onto an innocent player. That was unclassy, you're right. Again, where was he when he had his chance at Pedro?

And fianally, you didn't think Pedro bodyslammed him?
" I look at him and it's getting to the point where it's just scaring me. He looks younger but he doesn't carry himself in a younger manner. He's impressive, and I'm glad we drafted him. "

      Re: Yankees vs Redsox Thread

I'm not taking back my comments at all.

I'm not a Yankees fan OR a Boston fan, I just called it like I saw it on ESPN.

How many times in his career has Roger done something like this? Hmm...a lot. He's known as a headhunter, so there is good reason behind me assuming it was him who started it all. I mean, remember the '00 WS against the Mets, where he threw the bat back to Piazza?!

All I'm trying to say is this - Roger has no class whatsoever on the mound. Yankee nation shouldn't be saying he's classy, when you know well that he's not.

I don't see anything that was wrong with what Clemens did today. He handled it better then I thought he would. the pitch to Manny was NOT that inside, Manny even admitted to that after seeing the replay. Its not like he went out there trying to hit people and start stuff during the brawl, IMO.

What he's done in the past is not relevant to yesterday. That was all on Pedro and Manny. If you still continue to say otherwise, it just shows your ignorance.

Pedro took Zimmer by his head, and threw him on the ground. Though it may not be a bodyslam, it wasn't a regular toss either. The man is 72 years old, and the way he was handled by Pedro, anything could have happened to him. He could have cracked his head, or broke his neck, or even had a concussion. Fortunately, none of that happened.
But Zimmer of course too has to take the blame, but Pedro could have been the bigger man and walked away. In that situation, you could have laughed that a senior man is trying to fight you.
Totally irrational move on both parts.

Hardly touched Zimm? Now, that is a complete joke!
" I look at him and it's getting to the point where it's just scaring me. He looks younger but he doesn't carry himself in a younger manner. He's impressive, and I'm glad we drafted him. "
