Fair enough. Just glad he didn't get hurt.
" I look at him and it's getting to the point where it's just scaring me. He looks younger but he doesn't carry himself in a younger manner. He's impressive, and I'm glad we drafted him. "

Re: Yankees vs Redsox Thread
All this *****-footing around Zimmer has got to be insulting for the guy. A friend of mine, a yankee fan, pointed out he was the only one with the cajones to try and get at Pedro after the pitch up Garcia's back. I mean, good for Zimm, at least he tried. Old people aren't helpless. There's something to say about respecting your elders, but Pedro could've clotheslined him or decked him, or really done some damage. Instead he side-stepped and put him on the ground. I think Pedro found the middle-ground between going too far and hurting Zimmer and disrespectng both Zim and himself by skirting a confrontation.
I say ease up on the political correctness. Zim had the where-with-all to make a mistake and go at an opposing pitcher and he got put down. Seems like all sides add up in the end. Pedro has effectively taken Clemens' throne as the biggest head-hunting jackass in baseball. Manny is now renowned as Mann-bitch. Karim Garcia was the one yankee deserving of a 88mph fastball to the dome (as his slide on Walker and gang-bang in the Yanks bullpen can attest)... so let's let it go.Comment
