"Ross Gload" loosely translated in German means "Very Clutchness".

Bard's pitch to Yunel Escobar to strike him out was just filthy.... Then Bard lost his control and Wakefield won't get the win #200.

I can't believe i'm gonna type this but WOOHOOO EDWIN ENCARNACION!

It was a pretty wild game too and now Tim Wakefield ties the record for most starts between win 199 and 200 as he's gone 7 starts without a win. (interestingly the record is held by Steve Carlton)

Anywho, nice to see the Jays offense show up after doing a disappearing act the last little while.

Tim Wakefield has had 7 starts for 200 career wins and is still on 199. Tonight it was Josh Bard who couldn't get Wake the W. Wake is as classy as they come. The Sox better find a way to get this man his 200th before the season is over.

Between being left off of post season rosters or sent to the pen the man never complains.

Red Sox please get Wake number 200 before the season is over.

I suppose tonight's conclusion to the Braves/Phillies game wasn't very predictable. Oh wait, it really was.

Well, that went about as awful as it could have. NL East is over and it's like Atlanta didn't even care. Last year it felt like we were really working to try and catch the Phils/win the WC, but this year we just seem so content to just puts along. I almost wish there wasn't a WC for them to fall back on.

That was the greatest play at the plate I've seen all year (Yankees v. Orioles).

Nice win by the Jays tonight and Ricky Romero got the monkey off his back as he had never recorded a win at home against Boston before.

Nice to see David Cooper get a couple doubles and RBI as well.

Good to see Atlanta sweep the doubleheader. Also good to see Milwaukee lose and Arizona win. I'd rather Philly have to play Milwaukee than Arizona in the first round.

I remember when that used to happen to Cecil Fielder.

Whatever. Sean Casey was once put out 7-3.
