Do you think that play, that FAN attemted to make on the ball with his team 5 outs from the WS was a smart move....

Do you honestly feel he deserves no repercussions for his actions...

Trust me, if that kid is home yet, and his face is all over the TV, and he has any clue what a lot of people want to do to him, the fear he is experiencing right now is bad enough. He won't sleep tonight and just think what it'll be like for him at school tomorrow. For his sake I hope he is home-schooled. I don't think he'll be going to Wrigley any time soon either.

Ok, let's get something out of the way. I'm NOT trying to incite an argument with you. I was merely observing that you were incredibly pissed off and IMO was actually wishing harm on the fan. I was at fault for misquoting you and for that, I apologize. But that doesn't take away from the impression that you still WISHED bodily harm to him.

To answer your 1st question, IMO, the fan was ABSOLUTELY at fault. Alou might or might not have caught it, but we'll never know b/c of that idiot fan. Does he deserve to be booed out of the stadium? Absolutely. But do I think THAT ONE PLAY cost the cubs the game? NO. I think the Gonzo error had MUCH more of an impact than the foul ball (and I emphisize FOUL). If Gonzo even gets 1 out (which would have been the 2nd out of the inning), even if Lee hits the double, the inning would've ended as a tied ball game (assuming Conine hits the fly ball to Sosa). IMO, the momentum changer was the error, NOT the fan.

To answer your 2nd question. It's quite obvious that the city of Chicago hates this guy. To wish bodily harm? Sadly, I kinda think it'll happen. I'm sure people already know who he is. Because of it, I'm sure his OWN guilt will probably prevent him from EVER attending a Cubs game for the rest of HIS life. But bodily harm because of it, I don't wish upon him. What kind of repercussions did YOU have in mind?

Cub fans will like that song called "Sh!ts hits the fan" (or something like that), while the fan will be listening to "Suicical Thoughts".

If I was the fan I'd be thinking about suing ESPN nut then again I wouldn't want more publicity.
