Geesh, what a pathetic group of people. No wonder they don't win; their fans are freakin stupid.

Didn't 9 other guys reach for that foul ball? Did he boot the easy grounder to short? Did he walk the bases loaded or give up the 10 ropes in the inning?

EVERY SINGLE PERSON at Wrigley would have done the same thing.

      Go Marlins.

Has anyone seen the replay. I was just wondering how many people in the vicinity of that ball WERE NOT reaching for it. I willing to bet each one of the nearest people, and some who weren't even in good position were reaching for the ball OR ducking away from being hit by that hard @#@ ball. I believe that's just NATURAL human reactions...none of them were thinking "I better let Alou catch that".

Some of us say that we wouldn't have done the same...that's a very safe call, especially in hindsight, to make since we weren't there.

            These are my exact feelings.

Being a Cubs fan as I am I wasn't happy about it, but what can you do?

Throwing beer and harrassing someone is not something that should be condoned.

They showed this guys house on the news tonight and it said that all day he had police sitting outside protecting him. They had at least 2 or 3 cop cars out there to keep watch it looked like.

Very sad. Goes to show how messed up some of society is today. It's a game!!!!

IF the Cubs lose tonight they have no one to blame, but themselves. With a guy like Wood on the mound and Redman who's been leaving the ball up in the zone so far (and getting ripped), the Cubs should be able to pull this out.
