You guys can have Aramis and we will take Greinke and Fielder off your hands.

Good. Keep Aramis away from Detroit. They don't need any more help.

Interesting trade made by the Jays today in acquiring Ben Francisco. It really seems that AA is trying to bolster the bench which has been virtually nonexistent for at LEAST 10 years.

Dayman... I wouldn't let that bother you... We got ARam today and I also found this about Greinke...

            From JSonline:
One of the hot rumors going around the internet today is that Brewers right-hander Zack Greinke has left his agent and is looking for another to demand a trade.
Well, it is true that Greinke left his agency, Creative Artists Agency, but it was back in the spring after he had been traded to the Brewers.
ESPN's Jerry Crasnick notes that you shouldn't read anything into switching agents, because they do it often at times, and I agree. Because Greinke asked for a trade from Kansas City the last time he did it, some people assume he is doing that again.
A more logical explanation is that he'll be a free agent after the 2012 season and might want to change to one of the agents, such as Scott Boras, who is known for getting big deals on the market.

I honestly had no idea that CAA even represents baseball players. That's an odd one to me.

#Brewers have traded 3B Casey McGehee to Pittsburgh for reliever Jose Veras. McGehee became expendable when Aramis Ramirez signed.

I really like this move... McGehee is useless to us now and Veras is a very solid bullpen addition

I don't know about useless, he had a bad year probably with a little help from a low babip. The two years prior to that he was 800+ OPS, I think Pirates got a great deal. I'd give up a reliever any day for a bat that has had good years 2 out of the last 3. Just wish the M's would of gotten in on that, we could of used him at 3B.

Veras. I dunno much about him but I think Mcgehee could of been in for a bounce back year. Useless don't you have an open slot at 1B. I know Gamel is talented but lets see.

We'll lets hope this signals Prince to sign in Chicago.

I'd have preferred to keep McGehee to platoon with Gamel if Mat struggles.

But I won't argue against bullpen help, so I'm not too broken up about it.

The Yankees are beyond quiet at the moment; Yes Network is now covering who will win the job of Red Sox closer. Killer stuff.

If Detroit got Rollins, would they just move Peralta to third?
