Good thing he played in Texas...because he had a .730 OPS on the road.

There's always a problem with him...he is never just considering a great player. There is always people mentioning him being lazy, missing a lot of games, not playing hard...this year he he hit great at home but was really bad on the road. Always something from keeping him from being an elite player.

I still wonder if that Contract will hurt them near the end though. At least they are getting their moneys worth right now.

I'm kindly surprised Yadi Molina didn't edge McCann...Mac had a terrific 1st half but the .200/.301 /.385 split in the 2nd half can be largely attributed to Atlanta's collapse.

I also don't believe Brandon Phillips gets nearly as much love as he should. Definitely top 3 2B considering his bat and glove.
