I'm rooting for the Yankees in this one. I would like either team to win. But I don't understand why everyone hates the Yankees so much. Because they are the best Franchise in all of sports and they know it?(I was rooting for the Red Sox until I started watchting their games. All they do is show up the other teams they play. I.E. Ramirez hits a HR in Game 5 of the ALDS and shows up the A's more then Barry Bonds would. Then at the end of the game Lowe "crotch chopped" the A's dugout.) I think the hatred toward the Yanks is primarily influenced and fueled by the elite Media.

Marlins...just because another Yanks win isn't exciting. even though the Fish are a thorn in my side when it comes to the Phillies. but Juan Pierre is now my favorite baseball player.

I can't wait til next year when the Marlins drop off the table and don't make the playoffs because of what a fluke they are. If this sounds familiar it's probably because it happened last year with the Angels. In my opinion, getting past teams by fluke dropped balls (Giants) and fans interfering (Cubs) is not such a great accomplishment. At this point they are playing really well, but they're like the '98 Yankees, anything and everything goes their way. Let's face it, what are the odds of Wells' back acting up last night in Florida where it should be hot enough to keep it loose forever? I guess "luck" goes both ways, cause in my opinion the Red Sox are a better team than the Yankees, but the Yanks won. I just wouldn't get all hyped like Tim McCarver and Joe Buck and act like the Marlins are the '27 Yankees or some unbeatable force to be reckoned with. If certain Yankees could get a clutch hit just once in their overrated lives, this series would be over and the Yanks would've swept and had their parade today.

Unfortunately for Yanks fans, the games aren't played on paper. They're played on the field, and anything can happen on the field. As a Braves fan, that has become all too clear.
