I'm pretty sure the Braves will get another starter, I don't think they're going to keep Maddux. Another prediction I'll make is that the Yankees can't afford to lose all their pitchers so they'll keep either Petitte or Wells, the other one going into the free agency.

All the talk a few months ago had Maddux signing with the Padres. I wonder if that is still going to happen...

It might, Padres do need a starting pitcher or two and Maddux fits as one. He'd help the young staff that the Padres have now. I'm guessing it might be Maddux and Wells coming to SD since Wells home town is around here and Maddux is building a house somewhere, and I'm sure they'd like to play at the new park, too. Only the free agent period we'll truely know if this is going to happen or not.

I see the Giants going after Shannon Stewert and Possibly Eddie Guardado. I also think they'll resign Aurillia and possibly Worrell since they declined options on Snow and Cruz.

Also, I'd bet the house that Santiago goes to the Padres. The Giants want to give Torrealba a shot at the everyday job.
