    Re: Jeff Weaver?????

i would have rather put MO in there instead of risking it with Weaver. I have only my freinds as witnesses but I said they would crack a deep one on Weaver. although Weaver is a bum and there was a 90% chance of it happening in the first place so it wasnt much of a prediction.

Weaver pitched fine, did you forget the first inning he pithced????? on a month's rest?????, the HR was a bit of a fluke, it was more like a liner double that cleared the wall.
Torre did the right thing. That game could have gone all night.

Rivera wouldn't have gone in until the Yankees got the lead so he could save the game. I would put in Heredia or White before Weaver though.

                      Re: Jeff Weaver?????

Weaver is a great example of why the Yankees are an abomination. The young pitcher still with growing to do is put in the unnatural position where every failure he naturally comes across is magnified by the idiot owner and fans who need to win every game at all cost. I will make a note before I go to bed tonight to pray to the good lord that Weaver be traded to a team that will allow him to become the great pitcher he can be. Amen.

i think they need to get rid of weaver because he cost the yankees not only 1 of the biggest games of the year but how many through out the year. not saying it was only him but every time we turn around he was givinhg up something.
