He isn't garbage. Now is he worth resiging for 8 million? no. If he didn't have to hit at safeco his numbers would be dramatically different. Of course he still has that gold glove to rely on.

I really don't think Safeco field can attribute to his paltry .253 average, his .344 OBP, and his numerous strikeouts. Maybe if he goes to Colorado it might be different. Besides, I can't remember how many M's games I watched last year where they needed a crucial hit to get back into the game or tie it and Cameron came up short. He might have a good glove, but obviously that really hasn't helped them all that much the last few years. They need hitting.Comment

Re: Gammons on Dan Patrick Show - possible trade
The Safeco point goes out the window though when you consider Boone's, Martinez's, Olerud's, and Ichiro's statistics. There's no excuse for Cameron to hit so poorly for an eight million dollar player.Comment

I read that article, and he says he is unhappy in Texas and wants to play for NY,Boston, or Chicago... but the funny thing is, is the author just recommended The Boss gets him. No where did he mention how, or that a $22 mill. p/year SS is the least of our priorities." I look at him and it's getting to the point where it's just scaring me. He looks younger but he doesn't carry himself in a younger manner. He's impressive, and I'm glad we drafted him. "

Re: Gammons on Dan Patrick Show - possible trade
Shannon Stewert would be able to play center and lead off, I like it. But ya'know the more I think about it, the less I like the Soriano, Johnson for Vazquez trade. Yes Vazquez is an amazing player but why trade Soriano who is young and just needs a new batting coach, and Johnson who grows on me ever game I see him play. Matsui, Stewert, Vlad outfeild. give soriano one more shot at 2B. could NJ PLAY THIRD? Jeter at SS, Giambi at first, and of course Posada at C. Bernie DHs. If Jphnsp cant or wont play 3rd they this wont work. As for pitching once again the bullpen is a big issue here. Karsay, Rivera and who else!?! Pette, Mussina, Contreras, Leiber and Colon is they want to try for him. But part of me doubts that Vlad will sign. this the last time I am posting it: Pettie is our NUMBER 1 priority this offseason.
when is the date FAs start being able to sign?J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!!!!!!!!
