I am glad to see Ethier hit Luebke well. He struggled last year off of lefties. Our success really depends on Bills and Lilly. And if fatass at 3rd can do anything.

Cespedes homered for the second time this year. 2 run shot.

The A's are losing 5-2, but at least there's a silver lining.

Still a lot of time to come back, though, I suppose.

I don't think Trumbo will be the Angels 3B for much longer.

I wonder if they've had internal conversations about Albert playing 3rd and Trumbo/Morales platooning the DH/1B jobs? Albert can and has played 3rd at the big league level before, and didn't he do it last year while Holliday was out so they could jam more bats in the lineup to make up for it?

Man, watching Chen and Weaver duel was a treat. Opposites in their approach, but they both looked good.

Debating if I wanna go to tomorrow or Sundays game.

Yeah and once in a while hes capable, but with his elbow you're asking for big problems if you're talking about moving him to 3B so Trumbo can play elsewhere.

With the money they have invested in him and the years no way they'll risk his health.

                      This..

For Trumbo all reports were he was improving while in spring training, we'll have to give him a couple of weeks to see for sure, it might have been first game jitters. Not huge anyway, the plan was never to play him at 3rd every day, but to play him there, and then rotate him through the OF as well as 1B and DH. I don't believe the plan was ever to play him more than 50 or so games at 3B.

Blue Jays best uniforms in the league. Orioles with the cartoon bird back and the white paneled caps and batting helmets ftw.

Can't wait for Latos to make his first start for the Reds tonight should be a good game.

Man, the Royals-Angels game was fantastic through 8, then all hell broke loose. It's kinda ironic, because our bullpen is our strength and last year it was them bailing out our starters, not ****ting on a gem. But holy crap did Aaron Crow look great that first inning. I'm actually happy with the game. Chen looked great and we just got straight beat by a great pitcher. Our offense really is pretty good.
