Former Texas starter Kevin Millwood starts against his former club tonight. This Seattle series has been full of storylines from the start. Darvish debut (Ichiro v. Darvish), Feliz debut, Millwood playing former team. Although the latter doesn't really mean much in the long term.

That is the only disadvantage of having those two batting 3-4 right there. We're going to see a lot of that.

Cabby can hit the ball everywhere so I don't know why teams are shifting against him...same with Prince too. Boston was playing the Ortiz shift against Prince all of that series and I don't know why. Prince's spray chart seems to suggest he uses the entire field, yet teams play him to pull it on the infield.

And here goes JV again...quickly up 0-2 in the count and throws the 1st pitch that's missed the zone on that hook to Joyce.

EDIT: Punches Joyce out on a filthy curve and gets the next two guys on pop-ups, 1-2-3 they go

Evil Genius Joe is not looking so good right now...these shifts are not working at all. And James is laboring to get through these innings unscathed. Not gonna bode well if he can't settle himself down a little bit.
