Josh Hamilton is going to be terrible in a few years when his bat starts slowing down. He has no plate discipline at all.

He doesn't throw his slider anymore. That was his out pitch. I think he is hurt. Maybe that violent motion of his is catching up with him.

They asked the Giants pitching coach and they said they want his slider less involved since its rough on him. Another graphic they put up was the % of pitches from last year and compared it to his top seasons. 60+% fastball down to low 50's and the velocity has gone down every year.

What was it? They might have been talking about from his Cy season to the next (94 down to 92). Tonight he was 89-90 with just a few over 90.

If that's the case hes an idiot for not taking the big extension the Giants offered him a while back.

Something definitely seems off with him though you have that right.
