He's still a lock for no less than .275/.350/.525 no matter what IMO. And that is the absolute worst.Comment

I think it's clear that Pujols is on a slow and steady decline. Yes he put up some good numbers last year but the returns look to be diminishing. I think he's got at least a couple years of very good numbers and then he'll diminish to the point that his contract will be Vernon Wellsesque.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

I see the Rays are already on the plane to Boston.
I can't stand losing a series where you have the pitching advantage. Funny thing is, like Tim said earlier, the only game they won is the only one where they didn't have the pitching advantage.
Must at least split the 4 game series @ Boston. Must.Comment

Re: 4/4 - 4/15 Game Discussion Thread
Well I exaggerated on the Vernon Wells part but I think he's got 3-4 years of very good numbers left in him but I can easily see him dropping off the face of the earth. Historically power hitters start to lose it in their mid 30s. So yes 3-4 years of good ball then you got to start watching him.
It's not out of the realm of possibility. I never said he's going to have a crappy season this year.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club
