Strength of the team the starting rotation has been bad minus CJ Wilson. Bullpen looks like last years bullpen, and we just got kicked in the nuts by the Yankees. Here's to a better week.

I am clinging to the fact the Angels started off 6-14 in 2002.

I hate the Phillies, Red Sox, Marlins, Mets, Dodgers (the fanbase more than the team itself, currently anyway), and I have a somewhat irrational distaste for the Reds and White Sox.

Other than that, I'm pretty much cool with everyone else I think.

If San Diego's farm system as good as everyone says, you may start hating them again soon.

I think Arizona is setup to run that division for a while.

Pitching-wise Arizona should be scary, even after Bauer, Bradley, and Skaggs they've got some arms that could be worth something. Position player-wise, Matt Davidson should settle them down at 3B, but fortunately they have Young, Goldschmidt, Montero, and Upton to build around because they are pretty thin right now in the minors.

As for the Padres, it's best to wait and see. The NL West was supposed to crap it's pants ten years ago when they had a similar label with guys like Nady, Burroughs, Bozied, Tankersley, etc. and we all know how that turned out. As a fan I can only hope for the best, but reality of history repeating itself is still there.

Dark days indeed, until this ownership stuff gets settled in San Diego and we see more out of the minors than average major leaguers, nothing will change here in San Diego.

Hmm, I thought you had DirecTV, but in any case yes the Padres have so far botched there television reach by limiting themselves to just Cox Communications and DirecTV (I don't think AT&T U-Verse and TimeWarner have them right now). A huge fail on their part.

It's just been a mess, aside for the Padres game, FSSD is just a blank channel right now.

So I was watching MLB Network and they were doing their pregame predictions for the Rangers and Red Sox game they're about to show. They said it was presented by MLB 12: The Show yet they showed footage of MLB 2K12. Matt Vasgersian kept saying it was The Show.

How do you not know the game that you're in?
