I wish JP Arencibia could get his bat going. He's been clutch for sure, but batting .060 isn't going to cut it with d'Arnaud down on the farm (though he hasn't exactly been lighting it up in AAA so far).

No excuses. Tampa plays on a surface just as bad as this one.

Not liking how Ricky Romero has looked all year. Lefties are rocking him hard.

His defense has improved only slightly so at least thats a silver lining.

Yup 7 innings of 2 run ball most likely for JJ. They showed a video of his delivery last year to the 1st 2 games, he was speeding it up a lot this year leading to less velocity. Think he was doing a much better job at slowing it down getting up to his usual 95-96 mph range

He's doing a good job blocking some of those breaking balls in the dirt, he's a good clubhouse guy, and he's definitely made some key defensive plays this year, but man, striking out looking with a pitch down the middle like that with bases loaded sums up his season at the plate so far.

All that means is they get to the fewest balls put in play.

Hey Chicago, what do ya say? Let's ground into another double play today!

Wait, that's not how it goes....

Cubs have GIDP'd 4 times tonight against the Fish.

The best thing about April is ridiculous standing. For example, Baltimore leading the East and Boston in last.

Hamilton blasts a Ted Williams shot to right field, lands 15 rows up. Then next pitch Beltre knocks one out to center. That's why Texas is #1 in the Power Rankings. Every batter either has a hit or run scored.

They also just got to see the HR thing off.

HanRam goes deep for a 3-run shot in the 8th.

Hanley Ramirez 3 run bomb to make it 5-2, really looking better at the plate

                                I don't know how they can't re-sign Hamilton.
