Astros come into town against an offensively anemic Milwaukee team. Brewers likely need at least 2 of 3 from this series.

Rangers face the Yankees and Rays this week. I think they split with New York and take 2 of 3 from Tampa.

After a rough start to their week last week the Jays ended it strong winning 3 of 4 against the Royals who they finish up tonight. They'll continue their road trip with 3 games against the O's and come back home for 3 against the M's. I can see the Jays winning at least 5 or 6 of those games.

Holland and Sabathia pitching tonight in Arlington. It should be a pretty good matchup.

The Twins return home to find two grease fires on the schedule. Both these teams have less wins than the Twins? 3 vs. the Red Sox, and 3 vs. the Royals.

Is a series win asking too much? I think not. 3 wins in the cards.

Cubs playing the Cards for the 2nd series already this season. This should go well.

Thought this was a bit relevant to some of the recent discussion we've seen on here.

Everyone wants to see their team succeed in April, but a new study shows success in the first month may not translate to a strong finish.

A recent study conducted of Phillies' monthly winning percentages (dating from 2000 to 2011) indicates a minor correlation between April success (or lack thereof) and end-of-season winning percentage.

Instead, the study indicates performances in the months May and June are more telling than April.

I doubt it will be that matchup now because Washington was rained out yesterday. Probably Kershaw vs Detweiler.

Bases now loaded full of Yankees here in the top of the 1st inning. Mark Teixeira now batting. 1 out
Mark strikes out, Curtis Granderson now up to bat with the bases still loaded, 2 outs.

Curtis drives in two runs on his RBI-single. 2-0 Yankees, runners on second and first, 2 outs, Andruw Jones now batting. [Happy Birthday to Andruw Jones, 35 years old.] No birthday hit for Andruw just yet, the side is retired on a fly-out.

Still a good matchup. Obviously not Strasburg, but Detweiler has been pretty damn good so far.

Yup, looks like a good weekend of matches.

                            Kershaw vs Detweiler
                            Billingsley vs Strasburg
                            Capuano vs Gonzalez

I got Washington winning two of three.

I know this isn't the Royals team thread, but I think people will get a laugh out of this.
