Cody Ransom just DESTROYED a baseball. Up into an area called Friday's that's somewhere on the upper deck of left field.

Ransom's bomb has sent the Cards into a bullpen implosion. 5 runs scored without an out recorded, and what was a 7-0 game is now 7-5.

Well, Heyward was 20 when he debuted and all we heard (and continue to hear) is how insanely disciplined and mature he is.

Harper will get there at some point. Maybe he won't. Who knows. Luckily baseball isn't like basketball and doucheosity and overexposure isn't nearly as big a problem.

Yeah Heyward debuted and he seems like a likable normal guy, Stanton debuted and despite the massive HRs he hits always seems to be humble about it.

Harper got the Lebron treatment early on before he was drafted, he was doing some douche things in the minors, etc. I don't necessarily hate him yet, but he's gonna have to do some maturing to gain me as a fan as well as others.

Damn, Montero just missed a walk-off by about 2.5 feet.

Let me copy my posts I was mistakingly putting in last weeks thread:

Lance Lynn with another good start for the Cards, 5 IP, 3 H, 4 BB, 7 K.

Matheny goes to the pen and brings in J.C. Romero, who fails to record an out so in his appearance his line is as follows:

                            0.0 IP, 4 H, 4 ER, 1 BB.

Just like that its a 7-4 game and Arizona still has no one out in their half of the 6th and a runner on 2nd.

*Edit - Salas now in, gives up an infield single and now a bunt single and its 7-5, so Romero gets credited with that 5th run as well.

Cards escape the inning with a 7-6 lead, Allen Craig leads off the top of the 7th with a long solo shot to dead center, lead back to two 8-6 Cards.

David Freese with a homerun to dead center as well, back to back homeruns for the second time tonight for the Cards and their 5th homer of the game, 9-6.

M's win anyways. I feel bad for Fister. He has the worst luck in Seattle, no matter who he's pitching for.

Tiger's bullpen is awful. I was so happy to see Valverde wasn't coming in, then Dotel does his best fat potato impression anyway

I don't really understand why Fister was pulled after 73 pitches of shutout baseball, but I suppose Leyland knows what he's doing. (I know he's coming off an injury but geesh)
