They better have more home runs than a team without a power hitter if they're that good. It's good and all, but you all are ribbing the wrong team.

      What record?
Pretty sure Marino was talking about the 19 total bases Green had when he hit 4 home runs.

Cubs 3B coach Pat Listach apparently gets caught up in the moment as Starlin Castro triples past a diving Heyward, but is thrown out by a mile trying for the ITP HR.

A team they should more concern with that are more relevant. There's no fun in picking on a AAA team.

I don't have a problem with it because it takes 2 good throws on their part. And No way the Braves pitch to Lahair so it would be 1st and 3rd with Stewart up.

              Yeah, no thanks.

Cubs finally scrape across a run off Hudson in the 7th.

Heart of the Braves order coming up in the 9th...whoever tries to get this save will have to earn it.

It's Dolis, and he goes 1-2-3. Cubs Win!

Chapman has been nothing short of amazing this year. Moved to 3-0 now.
Good to see Votto and Phillips come up in the clutch and drive in runs.

Hey hey! It looks like putting Lind in the 7 hole paid immediate dividends as he was 2-4 with a 2 run HR. JP Arencibia and Edwin Encarnacion also homered today. Encarnacion broke out of a terrible 0 for 21 slump so maybe things will start turning around for him.

Casey Jansson looks to be the new closer for now and he was lights out. Let's hope he can continue that kind of pitching for the time being.

But when looking at pure baseball talent, I think Hamilton is above Ruth and that's not me taking anything away from the Babe... I just think no one has had a better all around skill set than Josh Hamilton. It's my opinion and I could definitely be wrong.
Well, there's a guy in the league right now who's younger than Hamilton that looks to have a better all around skill set than him, so is that two guys who are now better than Ruth?

Christian Friedrich picks up the win in his first career big league start.

                        His line:

                        6.0 IP - 1 ER - 5 H - 1 BB - 7 K - 93-60 P/S

I had wondered what ever happened to him after being drafted in the first round and being a top 100 prospect a few years back. Glad to see him finally make it today.

And yes, I streamed him in fantasy today.

Friedrich looked pretty good today, sure he ran into trouble in the first, but he settled down right after.

Cliff Lee drives in a run with an infield single! Nice hustle to beat that ball out!

                            1-0 Phillies.

According to Troy Renck of Denver Post, he lost over 30lbs over winter. He and White earned another start again in the majors that's for sure. Idc if it was against padres and at Petco.

Didn't get to see Alex White, but Friedrich would've had a decent game against any team with how his pitches were working today.
