Thank goodness the Jays escaped Atlanta with a win. BTW for anyone who's been to the Ted or follows the Braves closely, do they ALWAYS play such dour, depressing, funeral dirge like music for the opposing team's batters? That's gotta be one of the strangest things ever.

Jays are home to take on the Exp...er Nationals and Phillies.

The crazy thing is Cliff Lee has been winless in 10 starts the first time that's happened to a Phillies pitcher since Kyle Abbott in 1992!

Normally, I would tell you don't worry because you're playing the Twins. But the Twins have actually played really well the last couple weeks.

Chase Utley begins his rehab assignment today, that's progress.

Oh and Lee...ugh...I was baked in the sun yesterday to watch him throw a 3run lead away to a journeyman career minor leaguer. Cliff Lee's winlessness is as much is own fault as it is the collective team's.

I don't even pay attention to be honest, lol.

Randall Delgado is pretty good. Young guy, can get sketchy at times. Generally decent though. Fredi will probably pull him after five and put Livan or Chad Durbin in to get rocked.

Can't wait for the Marlins to not do anything this week.

Boston/Tampa this week, i'll be in Tampa for the Friday game Matt Moore/Big Z matchup I think it is.

Gaby got called back up yesterday, LoMo had some rest and look solid yesterday, Kearns also back. Hitters not named Stanton need to start hitting to back up the pitchers that were so brilliant most of the season until recently it seems

Didn't expect that to be resolved so early this week. Heard the Braves were in on him but I always figured it was a bit of a stretch. Good piece for the Cubs, I'm sure they'd love him to contribute sooner but I guess they have, and have had all the time in the world.

Let's see what happens. I'm a bit weary of the Cuban prospects, but he could definitely pan out.

Lol, no not really. The in-house organ player plays all of the walk up songs for the away batters.

He usually picks a song that has some kind of tie in to the player. Sometimes it's a quirk or something topical about the player, but usually he just uses their name.

For example, every time Colby Rasmus came to the plate he would play this one song by Colbie Caillat(never heard of her, but my girlfriend knew the song). Clint Barmes is another good example. He famously landed himself on the DL in an accident involving deer meat... So naturally, the Braves organist played "Grandma Got Ran Over by A Reindeer" for his at-bats.

Btw, I was at the Ted for Friday's and Saturday's games, and they were giving away one of the coolest bobbleheads I've ever seen. I'm not really big on collecting this sort of thing, but I can't see myself ever parting ways with this bad boy...

That bobblehead had me considering flying out to Atlanta just to get it.

Brandon Morrow throws 9 pitches and leaves the game with an oblique injury.
