No [censored you naughty boy], after all they're the Brewers.

Jeter is damn special (unless it's a Marlin/D'Back/or Angel on the mound, but I digress...), but it makes you wonder how many other 'special' players there are who never get a shot at October baseball. At this point Jeter is lucky to be in the company he is to get him to the post-season because he just isn't cutting it the rest of the season. And that should count against him. And does.

He's not cutting it in the regular season? Are you kidding me? Look, he's not ARod or Nomar or Tejada as far as power goes, but he's still pretty damn good. .322 (or whatever his ba was this year) is not too shabby, plus he's not in an RBI spot like those other guys. For the most part, he bats second. And your other comment about how he's not special against the Marlins, Angels or D-Backs proves how blinded you are by your hatred of the Yanks. He certainly wasn't the problem in any of those series. He has proved time and again he is as clutch as they come in October. If he had some help from others in those series, we would be looking at about 6 WS victories in a row.

Again, he's not those guys with the bat- no one has ever claimed he was, but to say he's not cutting it the rest of the season is just plain ignorant.

Dissin' the Brew-crew.. .. you've gone too far AI.

And does.

He doesn't cut it in the regular season? Explain to me that part. As far as I'm concerned, Jeter is the second SS, behind the best player in the MLB today.
