you talk about me not having any points in my posts yet you sprout up a thread like this. so A-Rod won this because of rumors of him going to the Northeast? hmmmm. things that make you go HMMMMMMMMMMMMM. sure Erod. SURE. and then you keep saying Yankee this and Yankee that. here's a bulletin...HE'S NOT GOING TO THE YANKS. he wants to stay a shortstop. Jeter is the Yanks' SS. nobody has been saying Rodriguez is rumored to go to the Yanks. now the Mets...maybe. BoSox...maybe too. i don't see how the Mets get him though.

and then Derek Jeter is Fernando Vina?

      what a thread, Dr. KnowItAll.

i have a suggestion for ya. on your Christmas list for Santa, right under where you listed "The Mighty Lyin' GOP action figures w/ Kung Fu Grip™"...why don't you write down for The Claus that you would like Fisher Price: My First Clue. Santa told me that gift is in demand this year, so you better not be naughty

and once again, you are misguided by your never-ending pursuit of having everyone agree with you. guess what...time to give up the dream, Erod. it's poofin' up in smoke like the Cowboys' season in the next few weeks.

i offer nothing? i offer more than you do. you don't see me going around here saying asinine things like Derek Jeter is Fernando Vina or A-Rod won the MVP just because of rumors of going to the Northeast and that everybody is in conspiracy of showing only that part of the region some love. now THAT'S nothing.

all you wanted to do was indirectly take potshots at the Yankees when he's not even rumored to go to the Yanks.

But this, is one of the most clueless posts I've read at OS.

Ortiz and Posada were in the top 5 on the ballot. They play in big markets on the East Coast. But they gave it to someone who has a very small chance of coming to the East Coast because their biased? Maybe your right though, last year, Arod should have won mvp. Instead, they were east coast biased and gave it to Tejada. Oakland is like New York's neighbor! Why don't they give the west coast a chance for once?

And where have you heard Arod would be a Yankee? There have been no serious rumours that got close to happening, and the only teams mentioned have been the Red Sox and Mets.

Normally, I like reading your posts in the football forum. They are well thought out, and usually have a pretty good point, even if I don't agree.

I love the way you have ignored this post that shoots your entire conspiracy theory down.

Yes, I agree that A-Rod really deserved to win it in years past. Heck, the numbers A-Rod posted this year are worse then any of his last two or three seasons. However, being on a terrible team in 2001 and 2002 killed him, and that was at a time when MVP basically meant your team had to make the postseason. I think it is absolute injustice that he hasn't won an MVP before now, especially considering the year he had in 2002. But it's still ridiculous to think trade rumors are the reason he won the MVP.
