When counting stats for the season, if a player switches leagues his stats essentially reset.

I have always hated those "ill" shirts. Hate them. Go down the Jersey shore and they are everywhere! They have Flyers shirts just like that that say "Fly."

My great, great aunt turns 100 tomorrow and watches all the Tigers games. We sent Fox Sports Detroit an email and are hoping she gets a shout out today on the broadcast.

While visiting my father in central PA this summer, we went out to watch a Spikes game in State College. This kid was drafted by the Pirates back in June and is from my HS back in Missouri. His name is Dalton Friend. He got the win in relief and seemed pretty happy to see some one from Rolla. I believe we are the first people to come up and see him pitch in State College. Not many people, maybe other than his father, would bother to go all that way to see him pitch.

Doesn't make it any less stupid. It's all MLB. He hit homers vs. the Twins and Blue Jays this year.

It's not like he's been playing for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp.

Cabrera hits number 300. The man is 29 years old. By the end of the year, he'll have 310-315. Depending on if he breaks down/how he ages, he could get to 600 HRs.

I've only seen two homeruns hit into the camera well in dead center at Comerica. Both by Cabrera this year.
