Billy Hamilton's speed is certainly exciting, but right now he shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as Harper and especially Trout.

I want so badly for Trout to go 30/30...would be insane. He'd be the first rookie to ever do so and without the benefit of a whole season.

When we're in a year with Cespedes, Darvish, Middlebrooks, Quentin Berry, Jarrod Parker, Matt Moore, Robbie Ross, and the underrated Scott Diamond, and one guy is leading the pack by a mile for AL ROY, I have to take Trout.

Trout all day, harper is too much of a free - swinger, needs to learn some patience at the dish.

Seriously, look at Cespedes, Darvish, Middlebrooks and any other great rookie, then look at Trout's stats.

I cannot believe how he is running away with the Rookie of the Year award. He isn't quite at Pujols rookie level, but he's quickly approaching it.

He's putting up Pujols numbers while playing [a very good] CF and stealing 38 bases.

Trout is the hype and more.

Just reading that SI article today really puts it in perspective. Forget the Harper comparisons, you have to go back to some of the games greatest players to compare what Trout is doing. He's having maybe the best rookie season ever.

How did 20 teams pass on him in the draft. Including the Nationals twice! Lol. Can you imagine him, Strasburg, Harper, in a few years wow.
