    My GOODNESS.

A's score 4 in the top of the 13th to take a 9-5 lead, Yankees score 4 in the bottom of the 13th.

    Onto the 14th we go.

Reds have opened up the floodgates in the 8th. 6-0 now, and barring a collapse they will be clinching soon.

Then, in the 14th, A-Rod gets what would have been a game winning single, but Melky Mesa misses 3rd trying to score and has to go back. A's get Cano, and it looks like they'll get out of it when Nunez hits a ground ball to first, but it's mishandled, walkoff e3

Wilin Rosario just hit his 26th home run of the year, that's the franchise record for most home runs by a rookie in a season.

Just because he hasn't been lights out against a team doesn't mean the Phillies will shut him down.

Face it.... he hasn't been all that good the last several starts. High 4's ERA over the past month. Something may not be completely healed. I wouldn't blame them if they did. Even if they did make the playoffs, would you trust him to duplicate what did last year?

Having to cheer for both the Yankees and White Sox these past few days has made me want to puke on multiple occasions. Rays have looked great the last 4 games, but it looks like it is going to be too little too late.

Hope we can get a massive haul for Price this winter.

It was 8-0 Detroit in the 5th. Twins were hitting with a runner on 2nd, a sky high infield fly was hit around the 2nd base area. The SS tried to make the catch but ran into the runner as he stood on 2nd. The 2B umpire called the runner out for interference, but where is he supposed to stand? If the SS catches the ball he'll be doubled off at 2nd, so why is it interference to stand on the bag?

Oh well, it went in favor of Detroit so I guess I can't complain.

I can complain, it was pure and utter bull**** of a call. The umpire didn't have the foggiest idea of the rules when he explained it either.

But umpire ****ups are what make the game exciting, right? Hooray for human element!

I know the Phils aren't gonna make the playoffs, but this clown behind home plate is not gonna help my mood about it.

Frustrating...Wieters takes a 3-0 pitch that was a clear ball but was called a strike, grounds out next pitch. Thome smokes a ball to right field for a ground rule double that would've tied the game had it stayed in play and would've given the Orioles the lead had Wieters been on. Then Machado swings at a 1-0 pitch with the bases loaded and one out and grounds out. To top things off, Ryan "Roy Hobbs" Flaherty takes strike three to end the game. At least the Yankees lost.
