Re: LOL at Zimmer
Not only do you not make sense you're insentive. Do you realize that Zimmer has been in baseball in one capacity or another since he was in his 20s?
Sheesh, if I spent a majority of my life in a job that I enjoyed and then left I would be pretty emotional too.

Re: LOL at Zimmer
When I post on these boards its usually becasue I feel like I have something to say. And I try not to bash anyone for their personal views but in this case......
The man has spent most of his entire life living every boys dream, living in major league baseball. He retires and talks about it on national t.v. and you laugh at him when he breaks down and cries?
You obviously don't have a love for the game of baseball like some of us do, cause otherwise you would sympathize with him. I would give anything in the world to be able to spend 50 years in the game of baseball. You should be ashamed!Life is a sport, so play hard!

Are we still doing Asshat awards? If so, this guy most definately deserves it.
Honestly now, if you were in one line of business for pretty much your entire life, wouldn't you break down crying if your career ended because of a jackass boss, at least going by what Zimmer said about Steinbrenner? The guy loves the game of baseball. It's the only job he's known. It's his passion. Have some more respect for the guy.Comment
