      I think it would be best for Griffey to go to a place where he wouldn't have TOO much media pressure on him.

      BTW the Yanks offered a great deal for JR but he turned it down because he has a problem with Steinbrenner for Da Boss' treatment of his father in NY.

        BTW the Yanks offered a great deal for JR but he turned it down because he has a problem with Steinbrenner for Da Boss' treatment of his father in NY.

            He had a prob with the Yanks because when he visited the clubhouse while his father played for us, Billy Martin kicked him out of the clubhouse...But that was all taken care of couple of months ago. He has no probs playing for us now. I would take him over Lofton 100X. Sheesh, we possibly can have Lofton replacing Bernie next year.
