Excerpt: "Guerrero turned down a reported five-year, $70 million offer in Montreal and may have done the same with the Orioles' $65 million bid over the same term. Reports out of New York had Guerrero's agents demanding seven years and $105 million for their client, but no one expects his final price to soar that high."
Really a shame because I feel Vlad was taken by his agent(s). He's one hell of a player and seems like a pretty good guy.Comment

It was 5/70, but extremely backloaded. I think he was due like 35 million+ over the last two years of the contract, and only like 8 million in the first year. If he couldn't get a no-trade clause, it was almost guaranteed he would be traded during those final two years.It's pretty much my favorite animal. It's like a lion and a tiger mixed... bred for its skills in magic.Comment
