Nolasco wants out as well, don't know if the Sox are interested in him or not, I'm a little iffy.

RA Dickey is getting traded to every team in baseball. Seriously, I speak to one person it is the Blue Jays, another it's the Dodgers, another it's the Red Sox.Formerly Favre4vrComment

Re: Winter Meetings Coverage
They are said to be talking about lower tier pitchers once the market begins to form. But, Ron Gardenhire made a comment saying that he told the front office before leaving their suite that he feels like they are trading the whole team away.
I know it's a joke, but I see them trying to be active on the trade front. Their Span deal was brilliant. Kid can pitch.Formerly Favre4vrComment

Completely agree. Don't see the Brewers as a match. Their system is a bit young and Rays would need someone ready to go plus prospects.Formerly Favre4vrComment

With the news that the Rangers and Josh Hamilton are working on a 4 year deal, do you think there is any chance the Phillies swoop in at the last minute with a better offer?Comment

Re: Winter Meetings Coverage
Yes, they did the same thing with Cliff Lee. There's a chance, but if Rangers feel like they can't get Greinke, they'll lock up Hamilton.Formerly Favre4vrComment

Amaro was asked if he had any contact with Hamilton or his agent and he said, "No, but I wouldn't tell you if I did." Typical Amaro. Dude has a poker face for sure.Comment
