    maddux to RED SOX

    im hearing buzz up here in NE (acc to j stark) that maddux is close to a 3 yr/33 mill deal with boston.

    anyone else confirm /deny this??

    i though he was going to SD?

    If this happens I am going to be blown away! Can you even begin to imagine Boston's rotation? Pedro, Schilling, Lowe, Maddux, and Wakefield. That's by far the best rotation in the league, and it would be next to unstoppable.

      If this happens I am going to be blown away! Can you even begin to imagine Boston's rotation? Pedro, Schilling, Lowe, Maddux, and Wakefield. That's by far the best rotation in the league, and it would be next to unstoppable.

          I cant imagine boston signing him for more than two years at that dollar amount, but he'd be a great addition.

                Being a Yankee fan, I'd be happy if he went to Boston. He's not the same pitcher anymore. I'm much happier they're spending their money on him rather than ARod.

                      but if u look at his GO/FO ratio..his #s are pretty good
