May be a battle between Mark Reynolds and B.J. Upton for the most strikeouts this season. Upton has 6 consecutive strikeouts already. Could be more by the time tonight's game ends.

Re: MLB Off-Topic 2013
The Twins announced today that they were going to charge $15 to come watch BP before a game, then just HOURS later "pulled" the promotion. Reportedly not due to the EXTREMELY negative fan reaction. Riiight.

Re: MLB Off-Topic 2013
I don't see the problem. You are charging for a bonus. I don't quite get the 60 person limit though. They were offering early entry, before the gates normally open any way (unless they were pushing gate times back and didn't say so in the article). I don't think I've ever been to a park where I actually got to see the entirety of the home team's BP to begin with. But I was usually there to see the road team so it didn't bother me. I'm not familiar with the timing at Target Field, so maybe it is normal to get to see home BP?University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey

Re: MLB Off-Topic 2013
Every stadium is different, but the ones I've been to, you rarely get to see all of home BP. This was a few years ago, but at Rangers game, Texas was always wrapping up when the gates opened, and the gates open even later for early games so even less likely on the weekends. You could get some autographs as players headed in, but you never saw much. Cleveland was hit or miss. I usually couldn't get down there early enough during the week, but even then, you only saw the latter part and could usually see all of visitor's BP. I don't remember how early gates open at Houston.Comment
