Re: The United Countries of Baseball Map - how accurate is it for your region?
The entire panhandle of FL is Braves territory.
It's actually just college football territory.. No one really gives a **** about anything else, but if you asked them who's their baseball team, it would most likely be the Braves. Now, more than everComment

I'd also say they have too much of Mississippi is Cardinal territory as well. Outside of the Memphis area, it is mostly Braves fans. They have the Cardinals almost down to Jackson where Atlanta's AA team is.Comment

MS is probably 50/50 Cards/Braves.
The older southerners are Cardinal fans. My dad doesn't care for MLB much but he pulls for the Cardinals if they make the playoffs.
Alabama is all Braves. It's sickening.Twitter

I think this is pretty much more accurate. You can't tell but I more or less split Braves/Astros by the Mississippi River and tried to split New Orleans and tried to split Cards/Braves through Oxford because I know there are a LOT of Ole Miss fans that pull for the Braves

If they really wanted to be accurate, they would do like the NFL this past season and color according to county/parish.Boston Red Sox

I live near the border of Pirates/Phillies country. It's mostly Pirates territory with the older generations, and the younger generations are mostly Phillies fans.NFL: Green Bay Packers
MLB: Pittsburgh Pirates, Colorado Rockies
NBA: Denver Nuggets
NHL: Colorado Avalanche, Pittsburgh Penguins

Like the person on the first page who said Twins Territory should extend more into Iowa, I think it should extend more into Wisconsin.
We have a cabin in NW Wisconsin, so I spend A LOT of time in the summers there. There's tons of Twins hats around, hell even a lot of the bars up there have more Twins memorabilia than Brewers memorabilia.
I would venture to guess that more people are Twins fans than Brewers fans up there. Makes sense I suppose, being that they are closer to Minneapolis than they are to Milwaukee.University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey

^ I'd agree with that. I lived in Cloquet for awhile and had DirecTV. The best part of living near the border outside of Duluth is that you get both Twins and Brewers broadcasts on Fox Sports without buying any package. I'm not sure if that's actually supposed to happen, but it does.Comment
