            yeah I haven't seen them but didn't the headlines in new york say something like 'asstro' and call him a 'traitor'?

                  He's always been a traitor. For the Yankees to think that he wouldn't stab them in the back is completely arrogant of them.

                        Steinbrenner made a quick comment saying that clemens was a warrior, a leader &amp; a teacher for the staff.. he said he was retiring &amp; that the Yanks had to believe him.. that was it..

                              I don't see him being a traitor. It doesn't really matter what team he retires with. People remember Jordan as a Bull, not a Wizard. People will remember Clemens as being on the Red Sox and Yankees.

                              I am annoyed out how he talked about he was retiring for sure all year, and then came back just like that, but I'm not to surprised either.
