i think 2004 will be a very exciting season.. with the offseason dealings, here's how i think the divisions will end up:

AL EAST: AL CENTRAL: AL WEST: NL EAST: NL CENTRAL: NL WEST:

Boston Kansas City Seattle Philadelphia Chicago San Francisco
New York Minnesota Anaheim Florida Houston San Diego

I think it will come down to a Boston/Philly series w/ Philly winning (due to the Boston curse & the spirit of Tug prevailing)

Just want to know what others think.. with all the snow & cold in NY, i am dreaming to the day of sunny summer afternoons

There will be a LOT of surprised people if Philly's in the series. Of course, there were a lot of surprised people last year too.

The NLDS will probably be Cubs/Astros and Giants/Marlins. I'll go Cubs/Giants for the NLCS.

In the AL, it's definitely gonna be Boston barring injuries.

i dont think the o's have as bad of rotation as tampa bay - at least the o's have ponson, a decent starter

Pretty much agree with these...The AL I would see similarly except Boston as the WC and the Orioles over the Jays (Seriously overrated...Why get excited over Batista and Lilly and a spotty bullpen? Halladay is awesome, but...). In the NL I could see the Padres be the surprise in the West and the Astros winning the central with the Cubbies as the WC. Yankees and Cubs in WS perhaps? I just don't see Boston's fringe guys (Ortiz, Millar, etc.) having the same types of years in order for them to get past the Yanks or Angels. Just my 2 cents.
