Yep, 2 anthems. The White Sox had a sponsorship deal with 7-11 where their games started at 7:11. Don't know if they still have it. 8 after just seems like a weird time. The internet just has speculation that it is for commercial purposes, but why not 10 after? Plenty of teams do that. Didn't know if there was a specific reason.

Jays games would normally start at 7:05 if we didn't have to do both anthems but it's not a big deal just means now with the integration of just about everybody at SN doing something for Jays broadcasts that they can tee the game up.

I remember back in the day when TSN used to do Jays games they'd have one of their people in a control room showing baseball highlights to fill the time.

Or just show the anthems? Leafs on LeafsTV and CBC have all pregame stuff(team taking the ice, the anthems, pregame ceremonies and all that).

And Jays games start at like 7:07. I found it funny how on opening day, on a diff channels ticker, they listed the game as "delayed", since it wasn't starting till like 7:30.

Though TSN is the worst for telling you when something starts. They'd be like "__ starts at 7pm" and when you tune in at 7pm, they're just talking for 30 mins and game actually starts at 7:30(they might say something like "pregame is at 6:30,game at 7", but the game was never gonna start at 7 anyways,there weren't pregame ceremonies or anything, it was just TSN desperate to get people to tune in for pregame coverage)

True. I wonder what our K rate is. It can't be much better than Atlanta but with a team BA of .121, it doesn't really matter, we're still not hitting the ball, nor making good outs.

Need to take advantage with RISP.

Huge win for the Rangers today. I know it's the 4th game of the season, but they needed to start out the series with the Angels with a win.

We need to knock off the "so and so is on pace for such and such"...it's the FIRST week of the season. Is Chris Davis going to launch 140 HR's this year? No...

The Braves will strike out a lot this year...we knew that coming in. They won't strike out nearly 2000 times.

Well, that prediction isn't looking good either now.
