Chris Davis is single-handedly keeping the O's in this game and in this series.

Just intentionally walk him the next time he's up, ******* it. Seriously.

The matinee between the Reds/Angels today was fun. Aroldis Chapman pitching against lefties is unfair.

IMO he is suited as a mop up guy. He has talent but he doesn't posses the control to live up to his talents. Only should see him when the Cubs are up 4+ runs or down by 4+ runs.

How he pulled off his 2010 season still just boggles my mind. Had a 16.0 K/9 ratio and only allowed 1 HR in 70+ IP.

O's bring in Matusz out of the pen and he pitches a scoreless 8th. I remember when he was suppose to be a top of the rotation lefty our of the University of San Diego.

                  Again, flash in the pan.

Another gaff by the Hendry regime. Anyone and their brother knew he would never replicate those numbers again.

I think Brian Roberts' goal is to play as few games a season again. Didn't look bad, but he was carried off.

After actually watching Marmol's 9th today (I missed the game), I don't think he really deserved to give up 2 runs. McCutcheon's hit was the only really bad one he threw. Marte's single was a fastball on the corner (hard hit but not a bad pitch), he got squeezed on the next batter on what could have been a called third, and the 2nd run scored on a bleeder.

Other than that, not as bad as I thought from reading the thread. He's certainly had worse outings. The slider actually found the edges of the strike zone a few times and he's a lot more effective when he does that.

Haha, moron. Evan Longoria overtook a runner. Might cost the Rays here.

Now I have no idea what is going on.

It was close but not sure he even passed him, that said gotta be more aware and not put yourself in that position by being that close.

I'm pretty sure he passed him. A couple of the angles on the O's feed, he looks to be a good step ahead and then when he noticed, he puts on the brakes quick.

And now Escobar falling down for a ball over the plate. Rays are getting sloppy.
