Ok, who am I kidding. They won't strike out as often against the Marlins. Then again, 29 in 3 games against the Cubs of all teams, including 13 to Jeff Sa*mumbles*ja, a career high in just 5 2/3 innings. Keep up the great pace!

The Twins have 4 wins already. They had 6 wins in all of April last year.

Here's hoping a road trip will get the Jays to get on track. I think the AL East is going to be VERY competitive and they can't afford to fall back too far.

Good thing I didn't make the drive down to see that series. I was very close to doing so. Those weekend Braves jerseys are a thing of beauty, and the Upton brothers will be fun to watch for the rest of the year. Edwin Jackson is on the bump for opening day at Wrigley. Hopefully Marmol is only handed the ball for mop up situations.

I fully expect the Marlins to get destroyed by the Braves and then the Phillies, hopefully Giancarlo wakes up a little soon to at least keep my attention in non Jose Fernandez starts

Just had to toss that in there. It's 6 games in, but man I'm excited!

As long as they keep winning, I don't care how much they strike out.

I mean, yea, it's not as bad as it seems. The A's set the AL record and won the West last year. But once you get to the playoffs, striking out 10+ times a game is never a good plan. It's early, but if they keep up the pace for another week or two, I would hope they keep hitting home runs, and often.

I am really hoping the Phillies can salvage this homestand w/ a series win over the Mets.

Ryan Howard got a base knock in his last AB yesterday, and scored the 8th run for the Phillies. Maybe that can get him going?

He's killiing our lineup right now because Revere, Rollins, and Utley are getting on base and Howard is typically striking out.

The Phileys need to win at least one of the next two series, or else it's time to start making changes

I am not for a change after one month. I think Charlie deserves some time, if not by the end of June...SHOULD the team stumble through April and not improve in May.

Ryne Sandberg should be the heir apparent as manager though, that I can get behind.

I don't remember noticing this last year, but MASN's stat graphics are right out of the 80's. They love their giant bar graphs.

Jackson walks in a run with the bases loaded. If your the Cubs and you don't beat the Brewers 2 out 3 you should be expecting 100 loss year.

                              Edit: 4-0 now
