I'd love to see the ticket sales totals for Marlins Park at the end of the season. Second home game of the year tonight and the place is all but empty.

I know this is random.. but it's fun watching Jake Peavy pitch and get mad at himself for missing the strike zone. This dude is intense.Twitter - @I_am_Mr_MillerComment

The Phillies are laying the beat down on Dillon Gee tonight. Back to back homers from Ryan Howard and Michael Young, then another from John Mayberry two batters later. 7-2 Phillies in the 4th.Comment

"sigh"
Looking really bad for the Jays with how they're playing these days. The next couple games might be rained out too as rain is expected at least for sure tomorrow.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: 4/8 - 4/14 Game Discussion Thread
Sounds like Motte isn't going to be back anytime soon. I'm still looking for an official article but from what I'm reading on a couple forums there is a tear and he's going to be re-evaluated in May.
Cubs down 1-0 early and Brewers are threatening a crooked number with 1st and 2nd, nobody out.
Castillo sends a snap throw to 2nd into CF, advancing the runners. Then 2 batters later Starlin Castro throws wild to the plate, allowing a run to score. This one's a mess already.Last edited by bcruise; 04-09-2013, 07:36 PM.Comment

Re: 4/8 - 4/14 Game Discussion Thread
Here's something on Motte at least, from rotoworld:
An MRI Tuesday on Jason Motte's right elbow revealed a tear in his ulnar collateral ligament.
He will be shut down until May 1, and if he cannot progress by that point, he will undergo Tommy John surgery. Motte was originally diagnosed with a flexor tendon strain, but with that inflammation having subsided, a clearer picture of his ligament was available. It's obviously a potentially big blow to the Cardinals, especially after the ninth-inning debacle they had Monday. Mitchell Boggs will continue to close for now, but Trevor Rosenthal could eventually get a shot. Apr 9 - 7:59 PMComment
