    any good for RSN??

    probably not

but if anything it deflects an incredible amount of pressure back at the yanks & keeps the sox in the underdog roll again (we're gettin used to it after 9 years !)

    time will tell

(ps..wouldn't be funny if the D-RAYS started 15-0 & ran away with it)
Bummed that you're not on my ignore list yet?.....Don't worry, I'm sure you will be very soon.

I have no allegience either way, but I really hope the Sox stick it in their a$$es this year. How can this be good for the game? I've had it.

If my Jays don't make it to the playoffs and the BoSox do I'll be cheering for the Beaneaters to beat the hated Yanks!

Yeah. That would be the best scenario. The Jays and the Orioles battling it out in September for the division and Boston and the Yankees watching it all unfold. Probably won't happen though.

I'll say it now, come playoff time, if these two teams are fighting it out in the ALCS, Curt Schilling is more valuable in a 7 game series than ARod is.

The only good thing is that ARod doesn't hit well against the Sox. The only pitcher on their staff he hits well is Ramiro Mendoza, and he has yet to have an at-bat against Schilling in a non exhibition game. And I suppose if you're a Nomar fan this deal increases the likelihood that he will be back next year. And lastly, Steinbrenner is going crazy with his money and the last time that happened the Yankees were terrible so we'll see how it works out this time. Pitching will win championships, and the Sox still have the better staff.
