I don't think NY is his first pick as far as location, but they do have the other two.

Well, we'll see but there hasn't been any report of the Yankees being interested at all in Maddux on any official news wire or MLB.com or ESPN or anything.

For Maddux, it may not be all about the money, for Scott Boras on the other hand it is all about the money, something will give sooner or later, the season is almost here, and Maddux is too old to sit out an entire season if his agent does not get his way.

Anyone else think these talks with the Yanks have intensified to up the $$$? I've always thought Maddux would go back to the Cubs, but I'm wondering if these talks with the Yanks aren't just a ploy to get more money out of the Cubs...

The Yanks MUST sign Maddux. They have to get that payroll over 200 million-- to come this close and not get over that hump is a complete cop-out.
