Dickey looking sharp today...they said in the broadcast that the entire Ray's roster has a combined .150 average in their careers against Dickey. They have looked it so far.

Nice to hear, but based on how things have gone for Jays this year, doesn't matter if teams(regardless if it's Jays or opponents) hit .100 or .300 against opposing pitcher, you can never predict a Jays game anymore lol

We'll see what happens, but Lind's homer makes it 2-0 and that 2-0 looks like 10-0 the way Dickey is pitching today.

Great to see game like that out of dickey. Really seems to be "hit and miss" type of stuff this year for him. He either dominates games, or sucks alot.


lol, did they really play John Cena music during 9th inning? What did Rays expect, to suddenly go into "comeback mode" despite sucking for 99% of the game? I wonder what Rays "5 moves of doom" would be to come back?

The positive thing about Dickey's performance to me is that it was done in a dome environment. Maybe the Jays may have to think about keeping the roof closed when Dickey pitches at home.

Nice to see that kind of performance from him though as that's something an ace does. He kept the Jays from going completely off the rails. If he can pitch half this good the rest of the way i'd be happy.

Kinda strange to think about that when Dickeys ERA away from Rogers Centre is 3.66. Something about pitching at Rogers Centre just isn't right for him. Ironic sorta. Away from Rogers Centre with no roof, he pitches great. At Rogers Centre with open roof, he pitches horrible. Home Run balls are what kills his ERA.

ERA of 7.56 in 4 games with roof open at Rogers Centre
ERA of 4.32 in 4 games with roof closed at Rogers Centre

The only bad game of the 4 he's pitched with roof closed, was early in season against Red Sox
