I ended up doing the quick pick. I figured the odds of winning this thing are slim to none so I just let it choose for me.

I'd say my odds are very high compared to just letting it pick for me. Their random pick just looks at season-long trends, which are dangerous. A good pick from April-June could be terrible pick based on the last week or a given opponent. We'll see in a couple hours if I still believe it. Avoiding the weather is going to be the hardest part I believe.

Already 6 down. Make that 8. A ton of first at bat hits. Several home runs as well.

And the conspiracy is in. Jordan Schafer was listed in the lineup earlier today... and then 10 minutes after the deadline, is scratched.

That awkward moment during Chipper's Number Retirement speech, where he looks to the Diamondback's dugout to thank Eric Hinske, asking "where ya at buddy?". Hinske was DFA'd today.

I'm really believing in the Pirates this year. On a 6 game winning streak at the moment and looking like 7 in a row after tonight. Already up 8-3 in the 4th over the Brewers.

I'm just not getting the feeling that they will fall off in the second half this season.

Up to 18 with a hit, but that Schafer move is going to kill me. Another thing that I didn't like was it did not list Brandon Phillips at all for the Reds, yet he's on the roster and playing. Has a hit too
