Re: Yankees vs. Redsox, time to put this to an end

Who in the hell would want to see an all-star team play every other day, its boring. There is like 5 teams who have a chance this year, this is why baseball sucks IMO. How could u root for a team that gets the best player in the league and still think other teams have a chance. Baseball needs a cap, and i bet this year's ratings prove it, not every cares about the damn Red Sox and Yankees feud. I know I don't.

You made some very good points Deeman. I still hate the Yankees though. I guess its just because I am sick of seeing them win. I also agree that most people hate them because they are jealous. Thats what happens when your're good. Also most every other team would buy the best players if they could and if they didn't then they would just be stupid.

I guess you don't care about baseball at all, because if you did, you'd know that the Yankees did not win the last 3 years, the Marlins, Angels, and Diamondbacks did. Not exactly huge market, $150 million payroll teams.

So no other teams have a chance? Wake up.

Jets, you forgot to mention that not only did those other teams win.....at the beginning of the season if you told ANYONE they would win, they'd laugh in your face. Those teams came completely out of nowhere, so to say that only 5 teams have a chance is just ridiculous.

Every team has a chance, you just have to make the most of it.

My team? We didnt do jack to improve our team this offseason. Why? Because we're owned by damn AOL, who doesnt want to spend money. Of course you cant be expected to win if you dont spend the money to do so.

I applaud George Steinbrenner and Brian Cashman for doing whatever it takes to bring home the championships.

                              Yea, good points.

Look, the big market teams have a huge advantage over the smaller markets, and that needs to be changed. But to say only the same 5 teams have a chance to win is flat out wrong.
