Kinda sad when it's only the 2nd inning and you know the game's already over.

How I've been feeling watching the Phillies play the Cardinals.

Could you be anymore of a debby-downer? You make it seem like the Orioles haven't won 8 of their last 11 games.

          Thank goodness for the Astros.

Even if we had him, the Little League team we trot out there on a daily basis would get crushed.

Have fun! After we spend our 5 nights in Vegas next week my fiancée and I are driving to SF to see the Brewers play at ATT before we make the trek back home.

I know right? S/O to the Astros for not making the Marlins team the worst team in baseball record wise.

Iwakuma now has something like 27 scoreless innings against the Twins.

Just want to get a reading on Braves fans... with Beachy returning but Hudson now done I dont think the staff gets that much better, and a guy like Teheran (workload) might not be able to sustain down the stretch.

The Phillies and Nats have played disappointingly all year and may not ever make it interesting again, but I honestly feel either team IS capable of a run that could unseat the Braves.

IMO the Braves need to deal for a #2 SP and LH reliever to bolster their chances of winning the East and/or going deeper into the playoffs.

You don't have to convince me...I feel like the Braves have screwed up by not pushing the lead to 10-15 games while the Nats/Phils have struggled. I completely expect at some point the Nats/Phils to get so hot and make a push.

I keep expecting the Nats to get hot and make a run.

I'm fully confident in the Braves rotation. But they need another LH reliever. And as good as the bench has been, I'd feel better with another bat there. It would also be nice if B.J. shows up when he comes off the DL.

                          Ron Washington, ladies and gentlemen.

Wash said he made a mistake in writing out lineup, then decided that easier to leave Martin in CF. Beltre the better fielder.

I had no idea Henderson Alvarez could get it up there with his fastball, been around 95 mph and just struck Gaby out with 98

Rays just clobbered Sabathia in the 2nd inning, there. Then again, his track record against the Rays sucks.
