what kind of stupid question is this, yeah i can prove that he hasn't because there isn't one ounce of evident that he did, its like if i took you to court over this, you couldn't win because you can't prove that he did take steroids, but i can prove that he didn't take steriods because there is no proof
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

You think a guy who isn't juicing it would recently always be lauching his home runs 450 feet (the base of the scoreboard) at Qualcomm, and I mean I doubt he's getting all of it too.

And you cannot deny the face how a player can be a 35-45 a year home run hitter, then just have 73 in one season.

But then again, almost everyone can launch monster shots agianst the likes of a Mike Bynum or Jason Middlebrook .

                  Re: Turk vs. Barry

To be fair, Wendell was addressing a reporter's question - not just blowing off steam.

                  However, this'll never get settled.

MLB testing is a joke. You'd have to be a fool to get caught - and even if Barry has juiced, it won't come out if Bud has anything to say about it.
All circumstantial and visual evidence points to Bonds, Giambi and many others taking steroids, but it wouldn't be proven, and they shouldn't be considered guilty with proof.

However, suspicion is entirely fair and warranted in certain cases. I like Barry. I've sat down and interviewed Barry. But there are a lot of unanswered questions remaining in his case. I don't think Wendell said anything that most MLB pitchers aren't thinking, and Barry's macho "tell it to my face and we'll settle it" act doesn't help matters, either.

We'll never know for certain for as long as Barry chooses to play - or a federal indictment snares him in the BALCO case; which is highly unlikely.

May as well let this one rest.

I think Dusty Baker, hit the nail on the head, it is like McCarthyism. Basically all someone has to do is accuse you of something and you are as good as guilty in the eyes of many. You could argue all day long about what he looks like this year versus last and whatever, but it proves nothing.

Wendell is kind of a knucklehead anyway, is it cool to say something a lot of people are thinking or is it totally BS, when you have no idea what the facts are?

I am not naive enough to think that their isn't steroid use in baseball, but I also can't stand the public speculation based on nothing more than weight gain and a good year.
