Sosa hasn't been named in any of these allegations.

He got big in his mid-20s, years before he started hitting a lot of homers.

Bonds got big in his late 30s and immediately hit 70 homers.

Sosa was a wiry beanpole in Texas who hit for average. Now, he's bodybuilding competition worthy.

    He was also 17.

Yes, he got bigger in his 20s, but he still hit 30 HRs and struck out 200 times every year until 98. In 1998, he was the same size as 97 and 96. But he changed his stance and his approach to hitting and had the big HR season.

You mean Barry "I've been implicated in a steroids ring and Sammy Sosa hasn't" Bonds?

well.. we know mcgwire was using andro.. which i think tricks the body into doing the same thing that steriods do.. so while it isnt steriods.. its really similar.

      could be wrong.

it's hard to use something when it didn't exist.

Steroids were invented in the 1930s, according to ESPN.

Ruth and Mantle had one thing in common, they were both Alcaholics, Ruth just because, and Mantle to kill the pain in his legs, Gehrig was never really the power hitter the other two were, so i do not think he used, we don't know if Bonds, Giambi Sosa or any one else has or has not used, but i think this is a matter that Baseball needs to address once and for all, if it's an issue about image, the leagues image gets worse and worse every year, test the players and come clean with the answers, who tested possitive and who didn't, and maybe we wont have to see Gary Sheffield on t.v. saying he'll pee in a cup anytime anywhere.
