    I think it's safe to say that the Red Sox are starting to run away with the AL East.

            The Rays also still have 3 more games with the Red Sox 9/10-9/12 at Tropicana Field. Not over yet.

                There really needs to be flex scheduling starting in September for baseball coverage. I believe this was set in stone before the season which makes sense as everyone thought the Nats were going to make the playoffs this year.

                    Yes I have.

                    2011, they blew a wild card lead. Plus, the Rays have lost 5 of 6 and the Sox have won 5 of 6.

                                                    Brandon Phillips is a single away from the cycle. Helton still stuck at 2,499 hits. Both could happen in the next inning or 2.

                                                        Tigers improve to 9-1 in games without Big Mig. He channeled himself through Infante tonight (2 HRs, 5 RBI), Omar actually had a bases loaded AB in the 8th but grounded out to end the inning. I would've flipped right out if he'd gone deep and picked up a 9 RBI night
